Computer Courses

Registration

We currently offer the following classes:

Beginner Computers

These are short, taster courses which run for five weeks and cover a broad use of computers such as familiarisation with the keyboard, the screen and the mouse as well as how to use Microsoft Word, the Internet and email.

QQI/ FETAC Computer Literacy (Level 3)

This is a follow on course from the beginner's class and will give students accreditation in FETAC level 3. The course covers various information about the computer, including the terminology used, health and safety issues as well as further practice in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, the Internet and email. A portfolio of work is submitted to FETAC at the end of the course.
